Gujarat govt said 200 delegates from Japan, and 150 from Korea are likely to join the 3-day summit in Gandhinagar. The Indian delegation includes the heads of 30 Gujarat-based companies with business ties with Japan and South Korea.
Japan and South Korea are one of the focus countries for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2022, which Gandhinagar, in Gujarat is hosting on January 10-12 with the central theme ‘From Aatmanirbhar Gujarat to Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.
Interestingly, the year 2022 coincides with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Japan. Closely following is 2023, which is the Golden Jubilee year (50th anniversary) of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and South Korea.
