The number of Japanese companies in India grew marginally by 13 only in the year 2019 (till October) as compared to the previous year. As per the data released by the Embassy of Japan in India on Monday evening, the total count of Japanese companies in India grew from 1441 in the year 2018 to 1454 till October 2019.
In deep contrast, the total number of Japanese companies had increased by 72 during the year 2018 to 1441 from 1,369 in 2017. The year 2018 registered a 5% growth while it was recorded at 0.9% in the year 2019. Read more...
