Over seven lakh people watch Dalai Lama’s address in 13 languages including Chinese, Hindi

 At the time when Indian and Chinese forces are embroiled in an unprecedented face-off at the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh region (LAC), lakhs of people in India, China, and other countries across the world hooked on to the YouTube address of exiled Tibetan leader Dalai Lama on Friday.

About 768,000 people watched the address by the Nobel Laureate of Peace His Holiness Dalai Lama during the one-and-a-half-hour “Creating a Compassionate and Peaceful World’ at the Amity Eminent Webinar Lecture organized by Amity University Gurugram on June 26.

The webinar was webcast live in 13 languages including Hindi, Tibetan, Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian, Korean, German, French, Italian, and Japanese through the official website of His Holiness dalailama.com. Read more...
