On the second day of the Virtual International Conference on Creating Sports Culture in Universities, organized by SGT University witnessed speakers from countries like Germany, Spain, India, Sri Lanka, and Israel.
Prof. Ulrich Rosen, Director, Dept. of Health Science, RM Professional College Guetersioh, Germany, very well explained about epigenetics and hand out scientific plans for more success for high-performance athletes.
He argued that without proper genetic profile you can’t win at high stake competitions. Drawing a comparison between nature and nurture, he skewed more towards nature and supported plant-based diet, and how diet affects our genes, for more efficiency and was not hesitant to admit that most top-notch athletes are vegan.
