K-Pop group VAV begins India tour with Delhi concert today, next in Imphal on June 2

New Delhi. Having earned world fame with its latest album “Thrilla Killa”, the famous South Korean K-Pop group VAV starts its Debut India tour from Friday when they perform in New Delhi.
Also known as ‘Very Awesome Voice’, the boy group VAV is currently touring India with six members who will perform at the Siri Fort Auditorium here on Friday, and in Manipur’s Imphal on June 2.
While interacting with select media persons and their young fans at the Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI) in New Delhi on Thursday, the band members – St Van, Ayno, Ace, Ziu, Lou and Baron looked upbeat about its Indian debut, and surprised the audience when the K-Pop group members greeted them with their ‘Namastey’ gesture with folded hands.
Their fans at the KCCI on Thursday included the students learning Korean language and other forms of arts and sports including Taekwondo. Kim, Kum-Pyoung, Director/Counsellor, Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI) was also present on this occasion.
In response to a question by Asian Community News (ACN) Network, the group members said that the Indian fans must be looking forward to some good surprises for them on Friday evening. They indicated that the fans would definitely find a touch of Indian culture in their show in Delhi and Imphal.
When asked what came to their minds when they thought of the word INDIA, the VAV members uttered words like Bollywood, curry & nan, Hindi language, Indian civilization, and elephants.
VAV was formed by A Team Entertainment in Seoul, Korea. The group currently consists of seven members: St.Van, Baron, ACE, Ayno, Jacob, Lou, and Ziu.
They debuted in 2015 and had already released four albums till now and the latest album “Thrilla Killa” has earned them limelight in the entire world as one of the popular K-Pop Idol group.
Last year, VAV successfully completed a world tour of 28 performances in 23 cities around the world, including the United States, Brazil, Europe, Japan, and Thailand. VAV has successfully completed a tour concert in seven US cities and confirmed its status as a global group.
