Global community hails Modi’s resounding victory in 2019 polls

New Delhi.  Narendra Modi’s landslide victory in the 2019 parliamentary elections has been hailed by the international communities staying in India, and also the non-resident Indians have welcomed the development.
Many of them have posted their photographs with Modi on social media platforms.
While congratulating Narendra Modi and BJP for securing thumping victory in 2019 Loksabha elections, Euy Don Park, the president of Korean Association in India – the apex association of the Korean expats living in India, said, “Mr. Modi has catapulted India to greatness at various fronts. On privatization, on foreign investment, on public and private reforms and on tourism.
Park said in a written statement, “As president of the Korean Association in India, I attach great importance to the development of India-Korea relations. In recent years, India – Korea relationship has shown strong momentum of development under the joint efforts of both sides.”
He said that India and Korea maintain good coordination and cooperation on major issues such as enhancing cooperation in trade and investment, defense and security, energy, space, start-ups, and people-to-people exchanges.
“I hope, under Mr. Modi leadership, India will continue to grow rapidly and would see new heights of development,” Park added.
Nupur Tewari, who has been living in Japan for 16 years, and is a healing expert on meditation and yoga, too has proudly posted her photo with Modi on social media. She says that yoga was very close to Modi’s heart.
“Modi has given the Yoga global recognition and respect especially by celebrating June 21 as an International Yoga Day. Countries across the world participate in yoga on this day. I am hopeful that Yoga would tough unprecedented heights in time to come. I am really thrilled to have Modi again in the power,” said Nupur Tewari who had met Modi during his visit to Japan a couple of years back when he met the Indian communities there. She heads a socially motivated organization Heal Tokyo in Japan and Healindya in India.
“Our Dearest Prime Minister, I,Nupur Tewari with entire HealTokyo/ HealIndya team promise you the work we have started to heal the world through Yoga and make India completely a literate nation will make it a mission for the entire country, keep it always selfless and will not stop until unless we accomplish the goal,” she stated in her Facebook post that purported “Shikhsha aur swasth se sampurn Bharat”, which means Healthy and literate India.
Ramesh Sharma a veteran on Indo-Japan relations and founder of InBizco said that the people of India voted with great responsibility to elect Modi government again.
“I appreciate our Indian public. I’m glad that our public has the required awareness and they used their voting in the right direction. Regarding Indo-Japan relationship, this will look up like never before as Japan is very close to the heart of Modi,” Sharma said.
